Leslie Fisher > This is the location of where I would like to place my mailbox. You can see where the mailbox is currently.

Leslie Fisher > My neighbor to the right has their mailbox at the door. My delivery person walks right by this spot to deliver their mail. Currently they head down the driveway to the mailbox to drop my mail off then head back up the driveway to walk across the lawn to go next door.

Leslie Fisher > This is my neightbor to the left. They also have their mailbox at their door so the delivery person walks across their lawn to this spot then walks down the driveway to deliver my mail then walks back up to deliver the mail next door.

Leslie Fisher > View from the spot I want my mailbox to my front door. I do not have any pets.

Leslie Fisher > View of the mailbox getting hit with the sprinkler. It makes a complete turn to the end of the ivy. I thought about trying to move the box slightly out of the ivy, but, it would still get hit by the sprinkler and I would worry about backing into it when leaving the house. Also, there is really no room to put the mailbox past the sprinkler without totally changing that area of the landscape as well as the sprinkler feed.
