USC Scripter honors the Author and Screenwriter of the Year's best Book to Film Adaptation. This year the 5 nominees were Benjamin Button, Ironman, The Reader, Revolutionary Road and Slumdog Millionaire. My mom has been on the event committee for many years and this is always an enjoyable time with my family and friends. This year, our table was right next to the stage. Jamie Lee Curtis was the MC. This was one of the best Scripters I could remember. Jamie Lee Curtis was a fantastic host. Funny, professional yet personal. She made sure to say hello to our table and had a nice conversation with my dad. Very classy lady. I hope she hosts next year.
